Scott Haapala is the founder and CEO of Amplitude Energy Analytics. After graduating from the University of Washington in Seattle in 2000, Haapala joined Home, Safe a non-profit corporation in Washington state, where he worked on policy issues and analyzed various child welfare programs. From that point forward he continued and expanded his work on policy analysis. In 2005 he earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of D.C. David A. Clarke School of Law. He has focused his legal career as an attorney working on domestic and international issues covering oil & gas, project finance, corporate restructuring, environmental enforcement, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, power permitting and energy pricing.
